Bayern’s Musiala may consider Man City, R/Madrid move

Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala is prepared to consider a future transfer to Manchester City or Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea trainee has established himself as one of the best players in European football during his time in the first team at the Allianz Arena.

A total of 33 goals and 26 assists have come from his 135 appearances in all competitions, the youngster also winning four Bundesliga titles during that period.

Still four months short of his 21st birthday, the Germany international has time on his side to take on new challenges later in his career.

Nevertheless, that will remain a topic of conversation while he continues to possess a contract that expires at the end of 2025-26 season.

Bayern would naturally like to extend his terms by a number of years in order to protect his future and asking price, aware that arguably their most prized asset will never be short of admirers.

According to Sky Deutschland, Musiala has little interest in pushing for a transfer away from the German giants for the foreseeable future.

Furthermore, though, there is said to have been little contact over negotiating fresh terms with Bayern, something which leaves the situation up in the air.

However, reporter Florian Plettenburg has indicated that the likes of Real and Man City would be prepared to offer Musiala more lucrative terms than he can receive at Bayern.

That said, it is claimed that Musiala’s priority is playing for a club that is capable of winning the Champions League, given that he has already achieved domestic dominance in the Bundesliga.

Man City and Real are said to be monitoring any developments with the situation in the event that Musiala reaches 2025 without penning a contract extension.

Real president Florentino Perez is allegedly keen to take advantage of Musiala being good friends with Jude Bellingham, who has quickly established himself as Los Blancos’ key man.

The report adds that Liverpool may contemplate trying to spend a bulk on any transfer fee generated from a potential sale of Mohamed Salah on Musiala.
