BREAKING: Armed robbers attack Enyimba team bus

Enyimba International football club were attacked by dare-devil armed robbers on Thursday evening , March 19, while heading to Aba, Abia state.

SportingLife gathered that one player sustained injuries in  the incident which happened around Enugu-Okigwe-Umuahia Expressway in Okigwe , Imo State on their way back to base after Wednesday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) tie against Adamawa United in Gombe.

The team bus side mirror was reportedly smashed by the robbers  as they made away with players valuables and left a player in a pool of blood.

However, the  team were able to return  to Aba later in the night.
