CAF Awards to make a dramatic return in Rabat on July 21

Africa soccer governing body (CAF) has announced the date and venue for the 2022 CAF Awards.

The award ceremony had been on suspension due to the outbreak of coronavirus and Senegal’s Sadio Mane was the last recipient of the Player of the Year.

The football body on Sunday announced July 21st, 2022 as the date for the award ceremony and Rabat, Morocco has also been announced as the host venue.

Winners in the CAF awards will be decided by votes from captains and coaches of the Member Associations, selected journalists, CAF Technical Study Group and CAF legends. The period under review is from September 2021 until June 2022.
