The 23 players expected to fly the nation’s flag at this month’s Africa Cup of Nations will be made public next week after the final list would have been sent to the Confederation of Africa Football.
On June 11 the Nigeria Football Federation must submit the final squad to the football governing body ahead of the continental showpiece which gets underway on June 21.
Already 25 players have been sweating it out in Asaba ahead of the international friendly against Zimbabwe billed for this weekend at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
The list of all the 24 participating teams must get to CAF 10 days before the commencement of the competition.
