CCL: Finidi vows to make Enyimba recapture continental glory

Enyimba head coach, Finidi George, has promised to return former CAF Champions League to the continent in a new dimension.

Finidi led Enyimba to their ninth Nigeria Professional Football League title earlier this month after finishing the Super 6 playoffs with a superior goal difference ahead of Remo Stars and Rivers United in Lagos.

His eventual success last season followed a disappointing run in 2022 when the club missed out on the continental spot for the first time in recent years.

After their triumph, the former Super Eagles winger was quick to turn his attention to the next task as looks to make an impact with the Aba-based giants in the CAF Champions League next season.
