Chelsea players to share £10m Champions League bonus
Chelsea’s players will share a massive £10m bonus after winning the Champions League.
The Blues’ heroes had already secured a tasty £5m windfall after beating Real Madrid in the semis earlier this month.
But, despite entering Saturday’s showpiece as heavy underdogs, they never looked like losing after Havertz netted two minutes before half time.
The bonus package was agreed at the start of the season when nobody gave Chelsea hope of winning the Champions League for a second time, says The Sun.
And boss Thomas Tuchel praised his stars determination after upsetting the odds one final time in the competition.

The German said: It is unbelievable. What a fight. We made it 1-0.
“You could feel it getting closer. The players were determined to win this.

“We wanted to be a stone in their shoe, the stone in the clockwork of Manchester City.
“We encourage everybody to step up and step out, to be more brave and create dangerous counter-attacks.
“It was a tough physical game. We had to help each other out.”
