Chelsea will make a final check on England international, Tammy Abraham on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s premier league fixture against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Abraham missed the blues surprise defeat against West Ham United at the weekend after being forced out of the Champions League draw against Valencia with a hip injury last week.
Olivier Giroud, who replaced Abraham in the starting line-up, struggled to make an impact.
Michy Batshuayi had similarly disappointed after replacing Abraham in Valencia, as the 22-year-old’s importance to head coach Frank Lampard’s side was last week underlined.
Abraham has scored 11 goals for Chelsea this term, having netted 26 times on loan for Aston Villa last season.
Lampard will be keen to have Abraham available again after suffering two successive Premier League defeats to Manchester City and West Ham.
