Barcelona coach, Ronald Koeman, has raised alarm over the leadership vacuum created at the club.
According to the Dutch strategist, Barcelona needs a good president to support the team’s dreams abd aspirations.
With no president in place since October, Koeman has not been feeling at home in Barcelona.
This week, he was tasked with responding to the leaked Lionel Messi contract, saying that if it came from within the club, that person should never work for Barcelona again.
“I knew Barça’s moment was complicated for many reasons, I don’t mind being a spokesman for the club but I am the coach, which is already an important role,” Koeman said Tuesday.
“We need a president. If things go well on the pitch, everyone else at the club has it easier, but we need a president.
“A club like Barcelona cannot be without a president and we will see what happens above all to plan for the future at this great club.”
