Crisis in Arsenal as 8 backroom staff set to be axed

Eight members of Arsenal backroom staff are set to lose their jobs ahead of a major shakeup being carried out by the London side.

Among the affected staff is head of youth scouting Steve Morrow.

Kevin Beadell, Dan Rice and Dave Lee, who headed the recruitment units at the Emirates are also expected to leave.

The exit of the members are yet to be ratified by the board but the wheels are firmly in motion.

The changes are coming at a time team manager Unai Emery is also under pressure after last weekend’s 1-1 against Wolves.

The Spaniard has seen results slip and some fans are calling for his head.

Gunners have won just two of their past nine fixtures in the Premier League and have thrown away points from winning positions.
