Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has exclusively revealed to SportingLife.ng that he would announce the provisional list of 30 players on Monday.
From the list, Rohr is expected to pick the players that will be fielded for the International friendly matches against visiting Democratic Republic of Congo on May 28 and England on June 2 at Wembley in England.
Rohr has remained discrete on the players that will join those that helped qualify Nigeria for the World Cup who he assured will be the first to be considered.
Speaking to SportingLife.ng from his base in France, Rohr said”I am going to announce the list of 30 players that will play against DR Congo on May 28 in Port Harcourt and on June 2nd against England”, he said.
He assured that Nigerians won’t be disappointed with the choice of players.
” Nigerians will be happy with the players that we have invited for the matches. I can also assure you that they will give their best against DR Congo and England”, Rohr told SportingLife.ng.
He is expected to submit the list to FIFA on the same day.
