Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has expressed happiness and satisfaction with the fitness level of his
team in readiness for the make or mar second group D match against Iceland on Friday.
Iceland surprised highly rated former World Cup winner Argentina in their first group match which has
now increased their confidence level towards tomorrow’s match slated for Volgograd.
A visibly happy Eagles Coach Rohr disclosed to exclusively to Sportinglife.ng that “what is important is
for the players to be fit for the game. So I can tell you happily that everybody is fit as we speak”,
the Franco-German football tactician explained.
Rohr also disclosed that he has had four training sessions with the Eagles since the team lost 2-0 to
Croatia in their first group match on Saturday. He believed that with what he has seen so far in the
trainings the players are super fit for Iceland match.

We had two full training sessions on Tuesday. Today (Yesterday afternoon) we trained in Essensuki
here again and after tomorrow in Volgograd.
