Watford manager Rob Edwards insisted his squad is good enough to win promotion.
The Hornets suffered a 2-0 defeat at Blackburn on Tuesday night.
Edwards’ side are seventh on the Championship table, seven points behind leaders Sheffield United.

“We are getting players back and it won’t be too long before we are picking from a very strong and healthy group, but then tonight we’ve potentially lost a couple for the weekend,” Edwards told the Watford Observer.
“I’m not going to complain about those things. We have a good squad: I’ve said that all along and I’m not going to change my mind on that.
“I have good players to pick from. There is no excuse there.”
