Egypt Olympic coach formally requests for Liverpool star Salah
Egypt Olympics coach, Shawky Gharib, has made a formal request to Liverpool about selecting Mohamed Salah.
It will mean Salah will be away from Liverpool from 23 July to 8 August.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, for his part, has intimated he’s far from happy about the request.

He said, “We have already played without Salah, fortunately not often but it is something that can and will happen.
“I realise that they are the Olympics and they are still a sporting situation. But we’ll have to see.”
