England Practice Set Pieces for Eagles

England World Cup team practiced set pieces on Thursday ahead of their international friendly against Nigeria at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling, Danny Welbeck, Jamie Vardy took turns perfecting their shooting skills during training that lasted an hour at Saint Georges Park.
While Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gary Cahill, Harry Maguire, Danny Rose, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, and Ashley
Young were seen sweating it out under the surpervision of manager Gareth Southgate who is using the warm up game to put his players in shape for their World Cup opening game against Tunisia on June 18.
It is on record that England have never lost to Nigeria or an African team and would be hoping to maintain the record ahead of Saturday’s encounter.
On the two occasions both countries met, England won the first and drew the second which was at the 2002 FIFA World Cup that was co-hosted by Korea and Japan.
Meanwhile Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has promised to parade his best players owing to the importance of the game.
The Nigeria side who arrived London on Wednesday night had their first training session on Thursday afternoon with the next session scheduled for Wembley between 5-6pm on Friday.
Kick-off time is 5.15pm (UK Time).
