EPL: Angry Everton fan embarrasses Iwobi after Bournemouth defeat
It was a difficult period for Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi as Everton got hammered once again in the Premier League.
The Nigerian midfielder saw action for the Toffees against fellow strugglers Bournemouth, but couldn’t save them from losing 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium.
The defeat came after another embarrassing loss to Leicester City at home.
First half goals from Marcus Tavernier and Kieffer Moore left Frank Lampard’s men trailing at half-time.
The Cherries then extended their lead to 3-0 in the second half, thanks to Jaidon Anthony’s strike in the 69th minute.
That result left Lampard’s men just one point atop the relegation zone.

In a bid to apologize to the fans in the stands for the horrible show, Iwobi threw his jersey, but a fan caught on tape threw back the jersey at the midfielder.
It was indeed a harsh treatment from the fan to a player who has been their standout performer all season.
