Etebo, Omeruo give Rohr selection headache

Omeruo had to postpone his honeymoon with his wife after his wedding in Turkey in May.

The Super Eagles’ team coordinator Patrick Pascal said the form of the players were evident when they came on in the second half at Wembley in the friendly against England.

“Etebo is a bundle of energy and he is not afraid to move with the ball when the need arises.
“Omeruo is gradually working his way back to the position he used to occupy when we won the Nations Cup in 2013” he said.

On Uzoho, the former Turkey based player said the coaches are delighted that the shot stopper is improving on his game.

“Uzoho has made a lot of progress with the national team after his debut against Argentina last November.

” In the subsequent friendlies that he has been in goal, he made vital saves for the team.

“Though we lost these matches but we shouldn’t downplay his efforts which is a reflection of the amount of hard work he has put in training sessions”
