FA Cup flop:  Abraham’s Girlfriend not happy with  Tuchel

The FA Cup may have been won and lost but Tammy Abraham’s Girlfriend is still harboring some grudge for Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

Abraham has seen his game time slashed since Thomas Tuchel joined the Blues, taking over from Frank Lampard, at the end of January.

The striker has started just four games since then, with the most recent occasion coming on February 20th against Southampton, and making just two sub appearances since.

Despite that it still came as a bit of a surprise that the 23-year-old didn’t even make the bench at Wembley on Saturday afternoon, and it’s fair to say the striker’s girlfriend wasn’t happy with the decision.

Abraham himself was a bit calmer about it with his social media post, saying that the loss ‘hurt’ and saying he had ‘unfinished business.’

Abraham scored four goals in the FA Cup this season, making him joint top scorer with Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Blackpool’s Gary Madine, Cheltenham Town’s Alfie May and Crawley Town’s Tom Nicholas.

Three of those goals came in the fourth round vs Luton, before Tuchel became manager, before scoring the winner against Barnsley in the fifth round.

The former Bristol City loanee didn’t play in the quarter or semi final so in some ways it was unsurprising he didn’t make the final squad.

Abraham’s girlfriend Leah Monroe was still very annoyed with the decision though, taking to Instagram to say, “How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goal scorer out of the squad for a final?

“The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? It’s not making any sense whatsoever.”

Instead the manager started with Timo Werner upfront and later brought on Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud as they chased the game, following Youri Tielemans’ incredible winning goal.

The England striker’s girlfriend wasn’t the only one annoyed with the Blues’ boss, as the former PSG manager also got criticism for not wearing a suit for the big day at Wembley.

It’ll be the last of his worries though, as they chase a top four finish in the Premier League and have the Champions League final to worry about.
