Fabregas hails Saka for showing maturity
Former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas has heaped praise on Nigerian-born Arsenal new rising star, Bukayo Saka for his display in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Monday night.
The 18-year-old was named in Arsenal’s starting XI for the clash against their bitter rivals at Old Trafford.
Saka acquitted himself well with two shots on goal, two successful dribbles and five completed tackles during his 80-minute display.
The Arsenal teenager provided a bright spark for the north London side as club-record signing Nicolas Pepe struggled to influence the game.
Saka has enjoyed a productive couple of weeks after the teenager scored and made an assist in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt last month.
Former Arsenal skipper Fabregas took to social media to admit he was impressed with Saka’s composure despite his lack of experience at top-flight level.
