The duo of Odion Ighalo and John Ogu have taken to Twitter to display the traditional attire that the Super Eagles will be wearing to Russia on Monday to kick start their FIFA World Cup campaign.

Both players who have been sweating it along with teammates at the team’s Avita Resort in Austria looked comfortable in the outfit which is a mix of the country’s national colours of green and white.

All the 23 players and officials including head coach Gernot Rohr will all be dressed up in the native attires when leaving Austria which is to showcase Nigeria’s deep cultural heritage to the world.

The idea is to make the entire team unique from the other participating teams that are likely to turn out in suits.

Nigeria open their World Cup campaign against Croatia on June 16.
