Floyd Mayweather opponent targets Jake Paul fight in Nigeria after beating legend

Floyd Mayweather ‘s upcoming opponent Don Moore wants to beat the boxing legend to set up a fight with YouTube star Jake Paul in Nigeria.

Moore and former five-weight world champion Mayweather fight on top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai this Saturday. The exhibition will be watched by just 20 spectators with tickets for the fight costing £150,000 each.

Once one of Mayweather’s main sparring partners, Moore never achieved the same success as ‘Money’ during his ring career. He went unbeaten in 19 professional fights and was also coached by Mayweather’s late uncle Roger.

Moore insists his knowledge of Mayweather from their time in the gym together has given him the “blueprint” to beat the undefeated fighter. The 45-year-old insists he is focused on Saturday’s clash but is targeting a clash with Paul later on.

“I would then like to fight Jake Paul in Nigeria. I’m focused on this fight first but after this fight, I will show the world that Jake is just a YouTuber. He’s interested in the business of boxing, but he’s no boxer. I’m a real fighter. I’m a real champ and not pretending,” he told Betway.

“Fight me. You’re fighting other guys. They’re not real boxers. You never fought a real boxer. So fight me. I want to fight Jake Paul – and that’s easy work for me. I want to show everybody that he’s just a YouTuber, and that you can’t play boxing.”

Paul is currently on the hunt for his next opponent after taking some time away from the ring. ‘The Problem Child’ – who won three fights last year – included former champions Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya on the six-man ‘hitlist’ for his next fight.
