France 2, Uruguay 0: Uruguay missed Cavani — Rohr 

.Says Uruguay were not aggressive

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser has disclosed that France benefitted from the absence of injured Uruguay star Edwin Cavani in their quarterfinal FIFA World Cup match decided at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, Russia on Friday.
The France born Coach said the Uruguay would have been stronger and give France a run for their money if Cavani had played the match. The match could have even gone either side, but France utilized the opportunity and fought bravely to win the match.
Rohr also told SportingLife.ng here in Russia that the aggressiveness that fetched the Uruguayan team victories in the earlier matches did not work this time against the France.
He also emphasized on set pieces being effectively  utilized by the France at the detriment of Uruguay.
“France were the better team in today’s match. Goalkeepers were also decisive in the match.
“Griezmann also displayed love for his teammates by exhibiting fair play and not celebrating against his friends from Atletico Madrid.
“Set pieces again was utilized at its best by France while Uruguay’s aggressiveness didn’t work to make the difference in this match. Cavani was missed very much in the match too”, Rohr who watched the match live in Novgorod yesterday told SportingLife.ng.
