Manchester City took a giant stride towards the Champions League quarter-finals with a clinical 4-0 victory over Basel.

Ilkay Gundogan’s near-post header, Bernardo Silva’s volley and a thunderous Sergio Aguero drive put the Premier League leaders three to the good inside 24 minutes, and Gundogan’s second eight minutes into the second half wrapped up a comprehensive victory for Pep Guardiola’s men.
