Galatasaray to pay Onyekuru N42m monthly

Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru who is on loan with Turkish club Galatasaray for the 2018/2019 season will be paid €100,000 monthly which translates to N42m.

The deal which is worth €1.2m will see Onyekuru also pocket $10,000 as match bonus, while parent club Everton will receive €800,000 after tax as loan fee.

And for every victory posted by the league champions in the UEFA Champions league next season, Onyekuru will get €5,000.

In Turkey, it is mandatory for clubs to publicly quote the contract details of newly signed players on the floor of the Turkey Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile Onyekuru who has teamed up with his colleagues at their training base in Zurich has promised to give his best.

“Turkey’s largest team we will start with this trip very happy! I will do my best to make it a success .Thank you for this opportunity provided to me. 🙏,” Onyekuru wrote on his Twitter handle.

The 21-year-old joined English Premier League outfit, Everton in the summer of 2017 and was immediately sent on loan to Anderlecht following his inability to secure a work permit.

The former Eupen player scored ten goals in 28 appearances before suffering a knee injury which endedhis campaign.
