Game Master! Messi, sons showcase skill in the front room

Lionel Messi shows he doesn’t need a football field to show off his skills as he races around his kids in his pajamas and socks during a kick-around in his front room.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner worked his magic on the same carpet where his beautiful wife defied gravity hours before with an inverted yoga pose.

He resisted attempts by younger son Ciro to take the ball from him with a slide-tackle before sliding the ball past older brother Mateo who was guarding a makeshift target set up between the couch and the fireplace.

Mother of three Antonela Roccuzzo, who posted the hilarious images on her Instagram, you could hear a shudder as Mateo, six, dumped the youngest of the Messi clan to the ground with a cynical mistake.

Messi, whose sons dressed as their Paris Saint-Germain star father at last week’s glitzy ceremony where he won his last Ballon d’Or, looked to repeat his Champions League feat on Tuesday by scoring two goals.

Messi and sons must play pitch or no pitch

His first miracle strike against Bruges was the milestone 758 of his career and put him ahead of Pele’s official total.

The touching video of the father of three Messi, 34, playing with his sons, sharply captures the new lifestyle the Argentine has had to adapt to after nearly two decades in Barcelona.

He regularly hosted improvised games with his children when he was still at his old club, but most of them took place in the garden of his mansion south of the Catalan capital because of the warmer winters.

Luis Suarez, former Barcelona team-mate, recently admitted that his friend was suffering at his new club, saying: “He told me that when he plays in the cold, he suffers a lot and with the snow.”
