German Bundesliga clubs jostling for Paul Onuachu

Paul Onuachu may have had a difficult debut season with Southampton, but the Super Eagles forward isn’t short of admirers in the transfer window.

Apparently, clubs aren’t oblivious of Onuachu’s record at his previous team, KRC Genk, and a couple of German teams are showing interest in acquiring his services.

At Genk Onuachu scored important goals, won both individual and team honors before leaving for the Premier League, to Southampton during the winter transfer window in a deal worth €18 million.

The forward however had a difficult time in his debut campaign at St. Mary’s, failing to register a goal, and the club suffered relegation as well.

However, the Nigerian could be handed a lifeline, as Borussia Monchengladbach and VfB Stuttgart are reportedly after his signature.
