Griezmann’s Confession: Life at Barcelona has been difficult

France international, Antonie Griezmann has admitted that he has found life at Barcelona difficult since making his €120m summer move from Atletico Madrid.

The striker has scored just four goals in 15 appearances for his new club but says he has to start delivering.

‘I am still learning a lot, and I knew that coming to Barcelona would be difficult,’ he told Marca following France’s 2-1 Euro 2020 qualifier win over Moldova.

‘If I play centrally, then I feel more balanced. I have played up front in that position for many years, and now I must adapt.’

Griezmann’s adaptation has reportedly been hampered by his relationship with Lionel Messi.

Griezmann has also struggled for form at international level and extended his goalless run for France to seven games in the midweek win over Moldova.
