Headache for Rohr as Osimhen could miss Eagles, Benin AFCON qualifier
Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr could be without Victor Osimhen for Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Benin Republic after getting injured in Lille’s 3-0 home win against Bordeaux on Saturday.
This was confirmed by the manager of the French Ligue 1 side Christophe Gatlier while throwing light on why the Nigerian was pulled out in the second half for home boy Loic Remy.
According to the Lille coach, Osimhen has a pain in the adductor which could keep him on the sidelines for some time.
“Victor Osimhen has a pain in the adductor, it can be a big problem,” Gatlier said in a post-match conference.
