How Dele Alli reacted to Pochettino’s sack
England international Dele Alli became the first Tottenham player to react to the sack of manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday night.
The player took to his Twitter to thank the Argentina for making him a better player.
I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me. Good luck and hope to see you again my friend.” he tweeted.
Allí played almost 200 times under Pochettino in his five-and-a half-year reign.
He’s also represented England 37 times and has the Argentine to thank for giving him an opportunity to play for Spurs at such a young age.
Pochettino led the club to fifth, third, second, third and fourth-placed finishes with the high point being reaching the Champions League final last season.

But, ultimately, no trophies and 25 points in their last 24 league games saw Spurs chairman Daniel Levy pull the trigger.
