Iwobi still in cloud 9 after scoring in AFCON qualifiers
Everton winger, Alex Iwobi, is still celebrating the only goal he scored for Nigeria in their 4-2 victory over Lesotho on Sunday.
Iwobi fired a shot into the bottom corner of the net in the 26th to pull Nigeria level with Lesotho.
Prior to the contest against the Crocodiles on Sunday, Iwobi had fired blanks in AFCONQ matches against Egypt (2), South Africa (2), Libya (2), Seychelles and Benin.

Days after the clash at the Setsoto Stadium, Iwobi posted on Twitter : ”Good Start To The AFCON Qualifiers , PleasedTo Grab A Goal Too As A Bonus”.
Lesotho took the lead against the run of play when Masoabi Nkoto took advantage of some lax Nigeria defending to put the hosts ahead after eleven minutes following a cross from the left channel.

But the lead would only last till the 26th minute when Victor Osimhen led the Super Eagles press, charging down the right after to set up Alex Iwobi who slotted home from close range.
