Anthony Joshua plans Dereck Chisora sparring session ahead of Ruiz rematch

Anthony Joshua and Dereck Chisora will use the training to prepare for their bouts against Andy Ruiz Jr and David Price respectively.

Dereck Chisora will spar with Anthony Joshua to help them both prepare for their upcoming fights.

The British heavyweight was critical of Joshua’s preparations for his loss to Andy Ruiz Jnr back in June.

Chisora questioned the toughness of the former WBA, IBF and WBO champion’s spars in the lead up to the shock defeat in New York.

So he will head to Joshua’s training camp next week to share the ring with him ahead of his rematch with Ruiz Jnr on December 7 in Saudi Arabia.

And Chisora believes it will also be perfect preparation for his showdown with British rival David Price on October 26 at the O2 in London.

He said: “I am going to go and see Joshua next week, he has asked me a couple of times but I have been too busy but next week I will go and see him.
