Bayelsa Queens retain Nigeria Women’s Federation Cup after penalty victory over Rivers Angels at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

After regulation time ended 0-0, penalty shootout was adopted to break deadlock, where Bayelsa Queens claimed a 4-2 win over Rivers Angels to emerge champions of the 2023 Federation Cup.

Thus carting home the cup for the 5th time in their history.

Interestingly, as champions, Bayelsa Queens go home with N10m while runners-up Rivers Angels got N5m for their effort.
