Knee injury makes Ndidi doubtful against Chelsea

Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi will know today (Friday) if he will be available for Saturday’s premier league fixture against Chelsea.

The Leicester midfielder needs to be cleared for the match after playing through pain in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup quarter final match against Manchester City.

Leicester manager, Claude Puel gave the update while speaking to reporters ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge.

”We will see tomorrow if he can play or not.”It’s about his knee, he received a fall against him. He finished the game, but with pain, so we’ll see if he can participate,” he told the club’s official website.

Ndidi remains a key figure for the Foxes and has only missed one game which was against Brigton which ended 1-1.
