La Liga: New sponsor at Nou Camp as Spotify reach €280m deal with Barcelona

Barcelona have reached terms with new sponsor Spotify.

RAC1 reports the deal is worth €280m for three seasons.

The Swedish streaming music company will take over from Rakuten as the main sponsor of Barcelona, with their name on the men’s kit and also replacing Stanley on the Femeni shirt.

They will also replace Beko on the shirt and get the right to add their name to Nou Camp.

Spotify directors were present at the Nou Camp for the game against Atletico Madrid. Daniel Ek, the director general of the company, took charge of the negotiations. Ek has been linked with a takeover attempt of Arsenal.
