Ladan Bosso out to break U-20 World Cup jinx

Ladan Bosso insists he and his technical crew have ideas on how to stop next opponents South Korea.

Bosso in a chat with NFF.com stated Korean team are big threat, but he and his boys are ready for the challenge.

Flying Eagles will battle South Korea in the quarter final of the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup on Sunday.

The Flying Eagles defeated hosts 2-0, while the Asians edged Ecuador 3-1 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

The two teams will clash in a quarterfinal tie at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago Del Estero on Sunday.

“We are delighted to have executed a perfect game plan against Argentina. Our strategy and tactics worked out, and the boys worked very hard,” Bosso told thenff.com.

“Now, we have to concentrate on what to expect from the Koreans. We have been watching their games at this championship, and we have a good idea how to prepare for them.”

The winner of the tie will advance to the semi-final of the tournament.

Nigeria last played in the last four 18 years ago.
