Leicester City on why Ndidi will miss next Championship match

Manager of the English Championship side Leicester City Enzo Maresca has explained the reason Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi missed the club’s last game on Tuesday.

The Foxes continued their impressive performance in the season with a narrow 1-0 win over Sunderland with James Dustin scoring the only goal of the game.

Maresca said the Nigerian International was having a minor injury coupled with being tired was the reason he was absent.

“We’ll see, he could be [available].

“It was a small problem, a bit of tiredness and now it’s normal as we play every three days, so we don’t want to take any risks with him”, he said.

Leicester City will face struggling Queens Park Rangers this weekend at Loftus Road.
