Ndidi in action for Leicester

English Premier League side VAR denies Wolves in goalless draw at Leicester City want Super Eagles Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi to miss Nigeria’s international friendly with Ukraine on September 10 due to tiredness.
Ndidi was pivotal for the Super Eagles at the recent Africa Cup of Nations where he played in all the games for Nigeria and has played in Leicester’s two draws in the EPL despite missing all of their pre-season training due to the extended break he was given by the club.
Leicester’s coach, Brendan Rodgers wants the defensive midfielder to take a break in order for him not to suffer from burn out as the season progress.
The EPL side is expected to meet with officials of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) to discuss the issue of giving the midfielder a rest in the game against Ukraine.
