Modric is currently on holiday in Italy, with Inter reportedly keen to make him their fourth Croatian player

They already have three Croatian players – Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic and new loan signing Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid.

Sky say the deal will be ‘difficult’, however, with Real opposed to losing another star after Ronaldo, who made the shock move to Juve last month.
