Messi Ready for Champion League Match against Inter Milan

After two weeks out due to the right arm injury that occurred in the game against Sevilla, Leo Messi is in Barcelona‘s 22-man squad to face Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday.

The Blaugrana have played (and won) without their best player against Inter at the Camp Nou, Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

According to a club statement, Messi will travel to Italy without medical discharge.

In the pre-match training session, he will agree with the coaches and doctors what level of risk he will be able to face in a match that will qualify Barcelona as group winners if they emerge victorious in Milan.

Samuel Umtiti, Thomas Vermaelen and Sergi Samper are still injured and will not travel, whilst Valverde will have to cut four players from his current list, in order to comply with Champions League rules.
