Middlesbrough midfielder, John Obi Mikel is on the radar of Norwich City ahead of the 2019/20 English Premier League season.
The newly promoted side emerged champions of the English Championship after defeating Aston Villa 2-1.
Mikel whose contract with the Teesside side that he joined in January will end this summer is also being tracked by Sheffield Wednesday who finished 12th this season in the championship.
It is however doubtful if Mikel who is 31 years old would be keen on signing for either club after making it clear that he still wants to win trophies.
With Middlesbrough, Mikel made 18 appearances and scored just once which was on the last day of the season.
Still keeping his options to his chest, Mikel is yet to open up on whether he would represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Chelsea midfielder has not featured for the Eagles since last year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
