Mohammed: My target is to play in the Champions League

From the dusty streets in Kano, Abuja to the glamour of Spain, Mohammed Mohammed had always dreamt of playing football at the biggest stage.

That dream may become a reality sooner than later after the 20-year-old began undergoing trials at modest Spanish side AGRUPACOIN DEPORTIVA ALCORCON..

The player who is comfortable as a central attacking midfielder started from the early days of Abuja Football College

He was to later captain the Samson Siasia’s local team and went ahead to play for Kano Pillars second team before participating in Nigeria U-17 WAFU B qualifiers held in Togo during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Going forward, Mohammed whose role model  is former Real Madrid and Arsenal midfield maestro Mesut Ozil has said he will continue working on improving his game to attract offers from big clubs that campaign in the UEFA Europa League and the Champions League.

“My  target is to play in the Europa /Champions league” the highly talented youngster stated.

“Hopefully in the next five years I would have debuted for the Nigerian Super Eagles and become a household name in the top flight of Europe “
