The Leicester City player who was recently adjudged the best tackler in the English Premier League this season has identified distribution as one of his weaknesses that he is working on to make his World Cup debut  a memorable one.

“Doing my job well is important. “Serving the team is my priority, especially in my position, ” he said in an interview with Joe.co.uk.

 

As a player who is always happy to see the team do well, Ndidi has charged his teammates to see their participation at the Mundial as a challenge to shame critics who said they would not go far.

“It’s not just about going to participate, it’s not about being happy just that we are part of the World Cup. I feel we can do more.”

 

Back from a two-match suspension, Ndidi who was in action for Leicester City in their 0-0 draw against Southampton on Thursday is one of the players expected to make the 23-man list of Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.
