Nantes 0 – 1 Monaco:  Simon fails to unveil Fresh Goal Celebration

 Super Eagles’ star, Moses Simon did not score and could not unveil his new goal celebration as his club, Nantes were beaten 1-0 at the Stade de la Beaujoire in the French Ligue last night.

Simon who had already made fifteen backflips while celebrating previous goals he scored for Nantes boasted before last night’s game that he will surpass his personal record of goal celebration if he scored against Monaco.

But instead of scoring, it was Nantes that conceded in the 22nd minute through Wissam Ben Yedder strike to dash the plan of the Nigeria international to whip up his signature goal celebration.

Moses who was in action for the entire duration of the match has scored just two goals in eight appearances for Les Canaris and the Nigerian admitted he needs to be consistent with his performance.
