Napoli confirm Anguissa injury blow, out for two to three weeks

Napoli will be without midfielder Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa for at least two to three weeks after he was diagnosed with minor thigh strain.

The player limped off during the first half of the Serie A home defeat to Fiorentina.

A statement from the Partenopei confirms that Anguissa suffered a low grade lesion to the femoral bicep in his left leg.

This type of injury usually requires at least two weeks out of action.

Sky Sport Italia suggest it will be 15-20 days before Anguissa can be back on the field, so is likely to miss games against Verona and Union Berlin, hoping to recover for the Milan clash on October 29.

Amir Rrahmani is recovering from his own injury and working with the rest of the squad, whereas Juan Jesus is still a little behind schedule and only partially trained with his teammates.

Matteo Politano was not at training today after coming down with flu symptoms, having already missed out on international duty with Italy.
