Ndidi will play for 60 minutes against Czech –Rohr

Super Eagles head coach Gernt Rohr has revealed that defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi will only play for an hour in today’s international friendly against Czech Republic at the Rudolf-Tonn-Stadion in Austria.

Super Eagles head coach Gernt Rohr has revealed that defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi will only play for an hour in today’s international friendly against Czech Republic at the Rudolf-Tonn-Stadion in Austria.

The Eagles coach has decided to introduce the Leicester of England gradually after recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained in a premier League game against Crystal Palace last season.

“The coach will play him for at least an hour which he revealed during our final training session yesterday evening,” Team Spokesman Toyin Ibitoye told Sportinglife.ng.

This will be Ndidi’s first friendly since reporting to international duty.  In order not to aggravate the injury, Ndidi was placed on a special  programme by Rohr

Kick off time is 2pm Nigeria time.
