NFF, Eagles Celebrate Rohr At 65

The Nigeria Football Federation have sent birthday wishes to Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr who turned 65 today.

“Happy birthday to @NGSuperEagles Coach Gernot Rohr. The staff at the Essentuki Team Base Camp offered
him a cake and bouquet of flowers to celebrate his day,” the Nigerian Football Federation tweeted, with
a picture of a celebrating Rohr surrounded by staff of the base camp.

Rohr who has been in charge of the senior team since 2016 was born on June 28 in Mannheim, Germany
The German manager who has handled various national teams in Africa has only lost six of the 20 matches
in charge. He has drawn five matches en-route qualifying Nigeria for the FIFA World Cup.

Rohr whose next assignment is the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Seychelles in September has had contract renewed by the NFF until 2020.
