NFF To Renew Nike Deal In December- Pinnick

President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that the federation is set to renew her contract with Nike in December.

Amaju made the disclosure on Kakaaki a popularly daily programme on AIT on Monday. Nigeria wrapped up a contract deal with Nike after Super Eagles qualified for the Russia 2018 World Cup.

However, the contract deal which was signed in 2015 was shrouded with secrecy as the full details in the deal was not disclosed to Nigerians.

A lot of questions where asked by Nigerians when the original Nike Jerseys for the national team was not made available for the citizens to buy, also some of the national teams that were in camp then couldn’t get the jersey for training and international games.

The NFF had said the jersey will be available for the other national teams after the world cup in Russia.

With the FIFA World Cup over, the national teams couldn’t get the jersey in which they needed to buy from the wholesaler in Abuja to dorn the national colour.

Just last week, the Falcons were pictured to dress in multi-colour mufty dress while leaving the country for Abidjan for preparation for the African Women’s Nations Cup finals in Cameroon.
