NFF working to bring Arsenal youngster, Saka to Eagles

There are plans and moves to lure fast-rising Arsenal star Bukayo Saka to play for Nigeria according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) chieftains.

NFF President Amaju Pinnick has resolved to do everything humanly possible to convince the 18-year- old wing attacking sensation to choose Niger’s ahead of his adopted country England.

The General Secretary of the NFF Dr. Mohammed Sanusi who revealed this to Sportinglife.ng in Abuja
also allayed fears about the difficulty in getting Saka to play for his country of origin, Nigeria.

“Yes Saka has played for the under-aged teams in England. But there are ways to sort out his eligibility. These can’t be an impediment to getting Saka to play for Nigeria. This can be sorted out by the Federation and the NFF President is personally handling the matter.

“I want to tell you that the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick is working assiduously to make sure he brings Bukayo Saka to play for Nigeria”, Sanusi disclosed to Sportinglife.ng in Abuja.
