Niger Tornadoes signs Mubarak, Hussaini, Tswanya

Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna has fortified its squad with the signing of the quintet of Tasiu Lawal, Mubarak Saheed, Mohammed Hussaini, Tswanya Samuel and Dosso Saib ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League mid-season transfer window deadline, Sportinglife.ng reports.

SportingLife.ng had last week, exclusively reported that Lawal had agreed personal term with Ikoh Allah and he had finally signed the deal on Thursday when he dumped Katsina United to rescue his former club which is languishing in the relegation zone.

Mubarak, a right wing forward, successfully secured his move to the north central-based outfit from Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (NFM) FC of Lagos.

The club through its FIFA Domestic Transfer Matching System Manager, Taye Adigun, also announced the arrival of another attacking striker Dosso Saib from ATDD-K of Cote d’Ivoire.

The management in its bid to correct lapses in the team’s defence, also brought in Mohammed Hussaini, a central defender, from Kwara United while Tswanya Samuel, a right back, pitched his tent with the club from Katsina United.

In a chat with the SportingLife.ng, Adigun said the club signed experienced and quality players in order to compete well in the second round of the league and to maintain their league status at the end of the season.

“We observed that the team needed experienced players and we brought in experienced players to help in achieving our aim and to present a formidable team ahead of the second stanza of the NPFL. The main aim is to secure our premier league status at the end of the season,” Adigun said to SportingLife.ng.
