The President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Ibrahim Shehu Gusau has announced a new sponsorship deal with a German firm, Puma.
According to a press release by the AFN chairman of the media committee, Amanzi Marcus, Puma kitted Team Nigeria at the World Athletics Championship in Doha.
The deal has now been extended to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

He disclosed that the AFN president remarked that there are also new plans to seek for more sponsors to conduct its activities especially now that the national trials has no sponsor since the Cross River State Government pulled out more than four years ago.
