Nigeria, South Africa set for Paris Olympic qualifiers cracker
Nigeria’s Super Falcons are poised to face off against South Africa’s Banyana Banyana for a place at the 2024 Paris Olympic Women’s Football Event.
The stage is set after South Africa dominated Tanzania with a convincing 4-0 victory over two legs, earning them the opportunity to clash with their formidable rivals, Nigeria, in the final round slated for April.
On the other hand, Randy Waldrum’s squad secured their place in the next round by narrowly defeating Cameroon 1-0 over two legs.
Looking ahead to the game, Falcons’ midfielder Deborah Abiodun expressed confidence, assuring fans that the team will be ready for the challenging match ahead.
